Frontier Park Supports Children in Need

With all elements of the service area now open, Frontier Park hosted it’s Grand Opening last week.

Falling happily on Friday 16th – Children in Need Day 2018 – it was an amazing opportunity for us to show everyone what we’ve got to offer, all while raising money for a very worthwhile cause.

The service area of Frontier Park includes a BP petrol station with a SPAR convenience store, along with a Starbucks drive-thru, KFC drive-thru, Greggs drive-thru, Subway, Krispy Kreme concession and a Totally Wicked retail unit.

Each of our on-site brands did something special for the day, to encourage donations and show off their products, and the day was an enormous success.

Guests of note included the Mayor and Mayoress of Hyndburn, Cllr Mohammad Ayub and his wife Noreen, who were also joined by record-breaking athlete Ron Hill for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Thanks to our generous customers, we raised £750 for Children in Need, a total that will be matched by EG Group to bring the grand total to £1500.

EG Gateway Opens In Wolverhampton

Another incredible filling station and convenience store has been added to EG Group’s UK portfolio.

Located on the Gateway Wolverhampton site, this EG site is the final phase of the Gateway development, which is already home to a Porsche dealership and Costa drive thru.

At the time of the deal earlier this year, David Myers, our Group Property Director – UK and Europe, commented: “We are delighted to have secured this high profile location in close proximity to i54 and the Jaguar Land Rover engine facility. This is a strategic opportunity for EG Group situated to the North of the city centre and continues our rapid growth programme across our core UK market”.

Good luck to everyone who’s joined the team – welcome to EG! We’re sure you’ll do us proud.

Sutterton Food-to-Go Station is now open

The latest of the Little Chef conversions, our Sutterton site is comprised of Greggs, Burger King and Subway.

The Subway team were joined by representatives from Boston Borough Council today to officially open the site at Sutterton roundabout.

The EG Subway team are well on their way to opening and upgrading 25 stores in 15 weeks. Great job so far and congratulations to Marius, Sinnita, Dean and the rest of the team at Sutterton.

EG Pulls Four Greggs Out Of The Bag

Our Greggs team have had an incredibly busy week, with the opening of Chippenham, Sutterton, Crewe and, of course, the Greggs Drive Thru at Frontier Park.

Our Greggs portfolio is growing by the day and we couldn’t be more grateful for the hard work our bakery colleagues are putting in.

Congratulations to all the teams!

M65 EG Services opens with drive thru Greggs

Our newest PFS – complete with Subway and Totally Wicked concessions – has opened right here in Blackburn. And there’s a 24-hour drive-thru Greggs.

Situated on the £100 million 90-acre Frontier Park Development, just off junction six of the M65, some might argue that the station lies more in Hyndburn, but we’re pleased to sit locally either way.

Starbucks and KFC drive-thrus are expected to open in the next week or so, so we’ll keep you updated!

Oswestry’s Will nominated for Community Award

We’re delighted to share the below article from the Oswestry and Border Counties Advertizer, regarding Greggs Oswestry site manager, Will.

A man dedicated to customer service is one of the latest nominees for the Advertizer Business and Community Awards.
Will Lander, 28, has been site manager at the Greggs store in the Esso station on Shrewsbury Road, Oswestry, since it opened two years ago.
The former Marches School pupil has been nominated for the customer service award, which celebrates those who show a creative and dedicated approach to their work.
Of being nominated for the award, Will said: “It’s really nice – not something I expected. It’s nice to be recognised.”
The award nomination is especially satisfying for Will as he said customer service was the most important aspect of his job. He also told of what he likes best about his role: “It’s working with the team we have at the site but our customers as well because we have a lot of regulars who come in every day,” he said.
Will was nominated by Sue Thomas, of Gobowen, who is a regular customer. “This young man is the epitome of perfect customer service. He goes out of his was to ensure every customer is treated so efficiently,” she said.
“He is a true credit to his company; he makes me smile and brightens the day.”
