Diane, cashier at The Forest in Bromsgrove, wanted to do something that would help both the local Blue Cross charity and increase sales in the store.
The Blue Cross is an animal rehoming centre, first opened in 1986 and with space for approximately 24 dogs and 24 cats, plus purpose-built puppy and kitten facilities.
Animal-lover Diane produced the collection posters below and displayed them from the 1st September with an aim to raise funds to buy pet food.
As well as providing plenty of food for this wonderful charity, Diane’s fundraising efforts also resulted in additional shop purchases of £109.69 within the first half of the month – 344% up on the same period last month.
Well done to Diane and to the rest of the team at The Forest. This was an amazing idea and we’re sure that your hard work is appreciated by the cats and dogs over at the Blue Cross.
